PostSubject: RP guidelines WIP   Fri Aug 16, 2013 6:09 am

A list of things you should try to pracice regularly and a list of things you should try to avoid at all times, i understand mistakes will be made, we are all human but thats okay as long as we do our best!

Things to try and avoid

God Modding  (Or GM for short)
"God Modding" is in essence when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. And example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RP-ers try.

this also includes...
-Characters who never take a hit or seem to never take damage
-Using another persons character without the permission or consent

Meta Gaming (Or MG for short)
Meta gaming is when your character knows something through no logic what so ever, or basically having knowledge about something they shouldn't without reason.

Power Playing  (Or PP for short...lol PP...)
Power playing happens the most in combat situations, this is when a character preforms a large series of actions within a single post, an example of this would be if a character used 5 jutsu or so one after another in complete succession within a single post. The problem with this is 1. Your character shouldnt be that fast to end up doing so many actions in a matter of moments. and   2. This makes it difficult for the opponent to properly reply and react due to the fact so many actions are taking place in a matter of moments

Things we encourage Very Happy

Character development
Character devlopment is very important in RP, because its usually fun and it gives your character a more real sense, and more depth. Developing a character can happen in many ways whether for the good or bad. Your character could possibly find a love interest or a rival, a best friend or a worst enemy! The possibilities are endless , so what will your character do?

Give and Take
Of course nobody likes getting punched in the face but when in combat its good to give as well as receive damage, this doesn't mean your character has to take every hit thrown at them but this also doesn't mean you can dodge everything. Perhaps your character didn't take a direct hit but was still took damage or suffered a burn, or tipped over a rock while trying to dodge!

Before reporting any Gm,MG or Power playing POLITELY address the person before reporting to an admin or mod, some of the time it could just be a mistake and nicly ask the person to edit their post, If you and the other party cannot work things out in an acceptable manner then feel free to contact a mod or Admin via PM
